Principle Tasks: Lightly forking over soil newly exposed from under plastic sheeting to remove any remaining perennial weed roots as in recent posts. Spot-hoeing. Watering plants in pots. Weeding temporary growing area.

Nice pic of those blackbird - I love it.
The next two photos with the cluster of insect eggs are not so good . The pic is ok but those insects not O OOH!
It is good for the plants and garden that it isn't so warm anymore.

Yes, much nicer it's cooler, and we had a goodly amount of rain yesterday which should liven things up (weeds n' all) :o)
