Hi Tim,
How unusual is it to find fungi this time of year? Surely there are
susceptible to frost damage?
Super shot of the Egret, you captured the moment. Don't be too critical about the focussing, the joy was in the taking and memory of it. Worth a painting though. Must get my paints out again.

Cheers Dad, hi Rita!

A short spell of mild weather will bring them out. Like plants, there are species of fungi that have adapted to 'flower' in winter.

You're right! There can't be many folk who have as close to an egret (and realised it!)

You said it!

Thanks Rita. Yes, things have begun to settle down for me I reckon. My old PC finally gave up it's ghost and I decided to go 'wireless' with a new internet service provider. It all took far longer than I hoped. Still, a fresh start was what I needed I think.

Hugs both,
Tim :o)x

PS. Rita. Did you receive the card I sent in the post a couple of weeks back?

I'm very impressed, especially with the ladybird photo (the birds and the bee) which had me in fits.
