Breaking Buds 2008!

1098.18
1098.17
Two weeks earlier than two years ago. Not unusual enough in the UK to be further proof of global warming, but certainly worth watching :o(

1098.16
A big bombus! A queen, I think - I need Jimmy to help me out! :o) Also, notice how those oilseed pollen beetles are back :o(

1098.15
1098.14
Looking at that top image, I did well to spot my first common lizard of the year!

1098.13
All done!! The four internal paths are also complete! Tim, you're getting there! :o)

Total Allotment Time: 2 & 1/2hrs.
Principle Tasks: Laying down the last bit of the pathway between veg bed one and two. Tickling over the surface soil of the top (gate) ends of VB01, 02 & 03.
