I'm really pleased with the quality of the compost in the first bin of the year to be turned out. I had to sieve it though to remove the larger bits (See in second photo). Notice also the spotted deadnettle (
Lamium maculatum) in the top photo. Looking good I think.

Origanum vulgare 'Aureum Crispum').

My annual 'fingers-crossed' over whether or not the elfin herb (
Cuphea hyssopifolia) has made it over the winter.

The rhubarb's made it again though!
Total Allotment Time: 2 hrs.
Principle Tasks: Sieving compost and adding as a mulch to the gate end of the border herb and flower bed.
