Total Allotment Time: 3 & 1/2 hrs.Principle Tasks: Mulching the 'Catriona' potatoes. Re-planting self-sown seedlings from VB01 to VB02 (Salvia sclarea, Coriandrum sativum, Papaver somniferum). Sowing clover 'Kent Wild White' into VB01.

Amazing what seeds will do to survive and grow. I found a self seeded sunflower in one of my small pots which are fastened to the fence last year. The seed must have been dropped by a bird.

Yes, self-sown seedlings are great to come across. The ones that amaze me most are tomatoes which I have had come up by themselves outside the last couple of springs!
