Thanks, Jimmy. That's good to know. I did wonder why, if they were two adult males, why they weren't already disputing their territory. Maybe they are a breeding pair, which would be nice :o)
The wild bird population hearabouts seems pretty strong. Starlings are everpresent (it seems) and noisy occupants of the tops of the old popular trees boardering the allotments, and I often see blackbirds, sparrows and thrushes, amongst others. There's also a kestrel about which I've seen hovering over the scubland to the rear of the site. My feeders empty overnight!
You need to get those blogs you've started going! There's a 5 megapixel camera currently being sold in my local TESCOs for £29.99! My old man spent over £100 on my 4 meg one only a year ago! They are great fun and you can set them to web resolution so that you needn't fill your harddrive with taking endless snaps of the same thing - like what I'm doing :o)
