Me too! They are a real nuisance, although I've not had any 'presents' left for me to clear up since last week - something to do with the wet weather we've been having, rather than their thoughtfulness methinks :o)
Have you heard of any humane deterrents to keep them away? The two I've heard are scattering orange peel around (unsightly and dubious) and sprinkling pepper about (not so humane, maybe, but it sounds more likely). I'll have to do a web-search on it.
The 'welcome companion' was my good friend John. He's pretty well camouflaged though wearing a brown coat, so you'll have to look close.

Hi Tim,
(Not my favourite creatures around the plot) I hate cats in the garden -I hope for you ,they are not comming every day.
Your pink Hyacinth looks beautiful :o)
and the path with the bark on looks very tidy .
(Look out for my 'welcome companion' over on the far right)
What are we supposed to see there?
My very best regards!
Rita :o)
