Principle Tasks: Forking over soil in preparation of beginning construction of veg bed 03.
Notes: Average soil temp of veg bed 1 (where I'm thinking of planting spuds next month) = +6C.

I used to spend a lot of time gardening. My life has made that impossible for awhile, so I really enjoy your blog. Thank you for sharing your gardening adventures.

Just have one probably very dumb question (what do you expect from an American?)... Have looked at some of your earliest posts and haven't found the answer to this, (which doesn't mean the answer wasn't there, I just didn't find it).

So, anyway ... What is an "allotment" garden?
