And the lettuce changed in human - Tim with short hair - nice :o)
What a beautiful photograph of the slow worm - You have luck to find these in your garden Tim. I did not know that there are so much types. Really a exceptional find. Look well after your hand,so that it heals rapidly :o)
Ten years of beer, bread and the barbers (and not necessarily in that order)! :o)
Hibernaculum - what a great word! Cheers Jimmy for the links (they both worked fine). Not sure that I'll have room enough for a full-sized one after I get around to building a shed, but I'm hoping to continue discreetly adding to the compost mound that I started last year on the railway side of the fence, and I was thinking of placing my compost bins on a 'crazy paving' of broken slabs to allow easy access for them. I'll keep trying to think of ways of helping them, and promise to keep you posted on the results.
Thanks Rita. My hand is healing nicely now (and it looks like I'll be left with a 2.5cm scar to show off with!) Once a boy, always a boy :o)
PS. Sorry, I meant to say (and cheers Jimmy for asking) that I'm pretty sure that I'm up to date with my anti-tetanus jabs. 'Fortunately' I cut myself at home (falling on a glass - but why's the rum always gone! :o) ) and it was a clean cut - I really should of had a stitch put across it though :o( T.
