> What could possible inspire you to thinking it is a mole?
Yes, the compost was lying on bare soil. Also a 'hill' appeared within a metre of the bin. Clues enough I thought - although your mention of a squirrel has got me thinking..
> that is my excuse and I am sticking with it
Hopefully not for long though as the days here are already fast lengthening!
> I think it will be a good year, and if it is not a good year, I am going to make the most of it anyway
Thanks Rita. I decided to risk spreading it out on the beds early. Although it's really still too cold to do so, I'm hoping that the remaining 'weed' seeds (the cage bird food) will be killed off by it.

Apologies there Jimmy. I changed the settings to have the comments appear in a pop-up window instead of a full page. The box should always be found towards the bottom of the page.
> Spring is probably with you and certainly not far away here either.
The buds on my whitebeam are beginning to swell - sign enough!
Best Regards Both, Tim :o)x
PS. Cheers Jimmy for the email reply. I'll hope to respond myself tonight (27th) all being well.
