Cheers Jimmy. Me too. It's a pity I've not a better copy of that first one (the image of it on the Faversham.org website isn't much better). They do allow decent-sized pics on Blogger.com which is great. The world-wide computer memory shortage must be a thing of the past - I've not yet exeeded my monthly upload limits here (in fact, I'm even sure what they are!) :o)
Faversham is a great little town, although I'm sorely reminded some weekends that it is part of The Medway Towns (although not actually on the River Medway) as it can become pretty rowdy, with much in the way of vandalism and graffiti.
Do you recognise that biting insect? I omitted to say that it was only small, being only 5mm long at most. I can't wait to get up there tomorrow and take some fresh pics of greenery, so as the blog stops leading with this horror show! :o)
Tim, I think that all the noxious chemicals they have used in the past have leeached away - it's a long time ago and with al the rean I think it's gone . Regards , Rita
Cheers Rita. I gladly take on all reassurance over this matter. My lingering worries are over 'drift'. Even today I occasionally notice a track maintenance engine go past on windy days presumably spraying it's stuff. I really must get onto RailTrack (or whatever the company is called thesedays) and seek information from them. Oh, why do I have to worry so over such things? :o)
