Principle Tasks: Transplanting leeks. Picking sugar-snap peas. Digging carrots. Harvesting from one and removing another 'Tondo' marrow.

# 2122I decided to lift the last four carrots from the top (gate) end of veg bed 03 to make way for the leeks. The one on the lower left was suffering from what I think is Alternaria dauci.

# 2098# 2097They didn't look too promising as I think the leaves had begun to succum to fungal infection by Alternaria dauci. But.. fresh off, they really were my sweetest tasting carrots, ever!

# 1885Taking advice from my neighbour, I watered the rows prior to sowing (Hopefully this way they shan't cap so soon).

Principle Tasks: Sowing 3 rows of parsnip 'Tender and True', 3 rows of carrot 'Early Nantes' and 2 rows of self-saved radish seeds (Scarlet Globe parentage).

Planting the unidentified rose I've had growing (rather, struggling) in a pot for the last couple of years, into the border L-bed. Continuing mulching the gooseberries. Continuing grubbing up the rye from veg bed 02.
