I decided to interplant the field beans with the leftover Limnanthes seedlings from VB03. Whether they come to anything will depend on how well the beans do.
The rhubarb's almost completed it's shut-down for another year.
Now that's what I call a green manure - not a weed or pest in sight!
The physalis that I grew from a shop brought fruit has begun to ripen. Unfortunately I made a hash of picking this first one and the 'gooseberry' inside burst in the process - it still tasted good though.
That mystery fungus again. Possibly Volvariella speciosa?
