I'm really pleased with the quality of the compost in the first bin of the year to be turned out. I had to sieve it though to remove the larger bits (See in second photo). Notice also the spotted deadnettle (Lamium maculatum) in the top photo. Looking good I think.

My annual 'fingers-crossed' over whether or not the elfin herb (Cuphea hyssopifolia) has made it over the winter.
