Total Allotment Time: 2 & 1/4 hrs.Principle Tasks: Amending the work I did last Friday on the new veg bed. Weeding the front half of my perimeter L-bed. Planting out a marjoram/oregano plant I've 'borrowed' from my mum's into it. Continuing mulching the bed with a bag of blended stable manure.

Hi Jimmy. Sorry to hear of all the rain you've been having of late - after my complaining last week someone seems to have taken notice as we've currently a full house of 'suns' down here on the BBC five-day forecast :o)
Somebody once told me that if you sprinkle salt on a cooking apple it tastes like an eater - never have yet tried, but it doesn't sound very healthy!
I think I'll be busy on the plot all through this winter like I was last - if only I had a shed! :o)
