# 0482Total Allotment Time: 1 & 3/4hrs. Principle Tasks: Forking over soil in preparation of continuing building veg bed four. Planting out grape hyacynith bulbs (I took Jimmy's advice) into the top end of the border herb and wildflower bed.
Hi Jimmy. Apologies for that - the amber nectar has been getting the better of me again of late :o(
Yes, I think you're probably right concerning the old heap. I would of thought if there was anything nesting in it I would of seen some signs of them when I lift the sheeting to get at my workbench (it's only a cheap old thing, so I'm taking the risk of hiding it up). I suspect it will take me well into next year to level it out.
I'm surprised at how many leaves are still clinging on - the whitebeam's lost all of hers now though.
Is the snow persisting, or does it melt away between each fall? I'm battening down the hatches for the expect gales over this coming weekend :o)

Hi Jimmy. I'm sure I replied here the other day, but it's not appeared :o(
I'll have another go tomorrow night as I've surcumbed to the temptation again (hic!) and wouldn't do it justice right now :o)
Regards,
Tim :o)x
