00635Total Allotment Time: 2hrs
Principle Tasks: Forking over soil in preparation of beginning construction of veg bed 02. Applying a generous handful of pelleted chicken manure (in hindsight, a regretful purchase) under and around the broccoli (I'll hope to 'tickle it in' next time I'm up). Reconstructing the poly-tunnel (this time nearer the fence line, hopefully for better wind-protection).
Notes: Average soil temp of veg bed 1 = +7C.

Hi Tim,
also in Faversham was a storm this weekend I see - ditto on this side of the sea :o(
We spent the weekend (from Friday till Sunday) on a farm by the coast and also I listening to them awake in bed .I hope the polytunnel is not damaged?
You placed a beautiful fence around the angelica I see :o)
I hope the rabbits will stay away now .
The white-flowered hyacinth from your allotment friend looks great ~~ I hope she will flower just so long as the pink one :o)
My very best Regards,
Rita :o)
Thanks Rita, Jimmy.

Yes, it was a bad'n', and also kept me awake. I'm glad to say that the polytunnel wasn't damaged at all, but I've decided to 'give it up as a bad job' and today gave it away to a nearby plot holder.
