Notes From Home 08/04/07

Pricked out 16 seedlings of sweet basil (sown 23.03.07) into 2 half-trays.

PS. In a flying visit I made up to the plot today (total time under 10mins, at a guess) I planted out 5 poached egg plants (Limnanthes douglasii) into my insect-attracting border bed.

Hi Jimmy. I fear this'll be another of those criminally short replies, as that clock I'm consently doing battle with (or rather, clock 'n' bottle - I like that - maybe I should change the name of the blog to 'The Clock And Bottle', or open a pub! :o) ).

Sorry for not yet getting to answer your anti-luddite comment (although there's a hint to my response in today's post :o) ). Things have been pretty hectic for me these last few days. A friend has enrolled my help in trying to assemble a self-build greenhouse around at his mother's - arrgh! Sadly (for me) I'm one of those who doesn't need much of an excuse to drink of evenings - and this has proved excuse aplenty!

Longer than I thought. Tomorrow ..hopefully :o)

Best Regards,
Tim

PS. In three weeks time I might of grown back my hair!
